Worse than our cars. The rotors need to be balanced regularly and the seals replaced every 30k. The plastic parts in the engine crack and warp from the heat ( alot of plastic parts). If the rotors and seals are not maintained they can cause fires in the engine. Thats why you dont see too many high mileage rx7's around. They dont last that long. But the engines are not that expensive to replace. I guess thats a plus. I was looking into getting one, but after some research and my findings I went with a Z.
